·Riverside Industrial Park The Riverside Industrial Park stretches along the Yangtze River and covers 36 km2.
The Sujiahang Highway and the Riverside Class A Motorway pass through the park.
The Changshu Port , Bonded Warehouses, and the Customs Agency are located within the park. Focused industries include: machinery and equipment manufacturing, fine chemicals, automotive parts industry and logistics to name a few.
FIEs currently operating in the park include: Novartis, UPM-Kymmene, Dunlop, AAM, Danieli, Pilkinton, Alimak Hek, Lincoln, CCP etc.
·Riverside New City
Adjacent to the Riverside Industrial Park is a satellite city which is currently under construction. Office buildings, housing complexes, catering operations, and recreational facilities are all being developed to meet the needs of the industrial development in the Riverside Industrial Park . Within the Riverside New City is a Neighborhood Center which is a residential area covering 110,000m2 and serving the workers and staff of the development zone.
·New and High-tech Industrial Park
The New and High-tech Industrial Park is situated adjacent to the Changshu urban center
and connects with the Riverside Expressway.
The total area of the park is 12 km2 and the targeted industries are electronics, IT and precision machinery.
Major international corporations have already invested in the park, including Sharp,Heraeus, Jardin and Fuji .
·Fluoro Chemical Industrial Park ( FCIP)
Located in northwest Changshu, FCIP covers an area of 15 km2.
It connects directly with the Riverside Expressway, and two navigable canals flow through the park.
Due to its strength in barge transportation, FCIP is an ideal location for companies producing fluorochemicals, biochemicals, pharmaceuticals and performance polymers. Currently AtoFina, Dupont and Daikin all have operations in FCIP.
·Tong Gang Industrial Park
Located between the Riverside Expressway and the future Riverside Railway, the Tong Gang Industrial Park covers an area of 8 km2.
The main industries operating in this park are textiles, machinery and automotive parts manufacturing. The largest investor is Taekwang from Korea .
·Changshu Export Processing Zone (Changshu EPZ)
Changshu EPZ was approved by the State Council on June 3, 2005. It will cover an area of 0.94km2 within the Changshu Economic Development Zone.
With its close proximity to the Changshu Port , Changshu EPZ boasts convenient logistics, strong administrative support and a solid industrial foundation. Companies operating within Changshu EPZ enjoy convenient customs clearance and competitive tax incentives. Changshu EPZ offers direct access to customs, commodity inspection, transportation and warehousing agencies, and all export formalities can be handled within the EPZ.
To name a few clients in Changshu EPZ: Swagelok, FMC, Nat Steel, Synpart, Pan Pacific etc.
·Pre-built Factory Buildings In order to meet the requirements of a variety of investments, CEDZ developed a pre-built factory area covering 667,000m2.
This area consists of the following five industrial squares with at total of 500,000m2 under-roof: Maqiao Industrial Square , Haicheng Industrial Square , Jingshun Industrial Square , Changshu EPZ and an additional square reserved for future growth. Among these areas there are single-story, multiple-story and tailor-made buildings available for companies operating in industries such as: machinery, electronics, light industry and other processing operations.
